30 central Florida homes evacuated near brush fire
Orange County firefighters on Monday continue to monitor an intense brush fire that forced evacuations near Orlando.
Authorities say were returning to their homes after fleeing the blaze.
About 30 homes in eastern Orange County were evacuated Sunday evening as a precaution after the fire was spotted in a nearby wooded area.
Orange County Fire Rescue says more than 50 firefighters worked to contain the blaze to a 10- to 15-acre area.
No homes were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
The evacuated residents were allowed to begin returning to their homes late Sunday.
The firefighters say the state's Department of Agriculture will be investigating the fire.
